COMPANY PROFILE: 2009

Rock Distribution was founded in the fall of 2008 as a pure distribution company by two ambitious and young men Edijs Rudzis and Viesturs Balodis, both convinced about how to Rock `n’ Roll the music business and with great experience in MI sales and marketing.

The main sphere of activity by the company is defined as a rock solid distribution of high quality musical instruments and pro audio products primary related to rock music and at this point our company is a distributor of Jim Dunlop, Schecter Guitar Research and Snap Jack guitar cables.

Rock Distribution has proactive and professional team with deep interest in music instrument industry and we are regular visitors of the main music industry trade shows in Europe and USA, carefully analyzing product information and latest market news. We are accurately searching for new brands to complete our product list which fits in our company ideas and conceptions.

Due to our conception we have good partnership and communication with all retail stores, because we’re not competing with them; we have 4 traveling regional sales representatives, we know almost every pro user in Latvia, we’re supporting dozens of music teachers and we are musicians by ourselves.

Until now there were no pure distribution companies in Baltic countries; all other “distributors” have direct sales to end users. Regarding to this situation distribution itself is not working properly and effective enough, therefore biggest part of the market is closed or brake. To resolve this situation we are making an advertising campaign for every brand we are distributing; organizing concerts and signing endorsement contracts with popular bands and musicians, therefore we have an advertising platform which no company had here before.

The target goal the next three years for Rock Distribution is to become a leading pure distributor company in Baltic States!
